Our history

In 2001 saw Wine Farm “De Kleine Schorre” the Zeeuwse light. In collaboration with the renowned wine company CEP d’Or from Luxembourg is there a rigorous selection of grapes made. The choice of these grape varieties are based on certain criteria.

One of the criteria is that the wine seamlessly connect to that what Zealand has to offer, namely the Zealand Brackish Glory.

These salty delights include mussels, the “Oosterschelde” lobster, the oysters, flatfish, and lamsoor - Salicornia. The choice of grape varieties is therefore cases on the Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Rivaner and Auxerrois.

The Vineyard
At present there are already 30,000 vines planned. The vineyard has grown to 8 acres and is the largest vineyard in the Netherlands.

In the barn of the Farm are the basement and test domain housed. When the time for the harvest is arrived, will the grapes be picked by volunteers. The grapes are handled with the greatest care in the barn of the farm.

Friends of the Wine Farm
Wine Farm the little Schorre is built by six gentlemen from Zealand. The small Wine Farm has a special structure. In addition to the five shareholders there are also 25 certificate holders involved in the Wine farm. The Wine farm has an extensive network too its disposal. This is the result of the possibility to lease vines for a certain period.

You can find Wine Farm “De Kleine Schorre, on the island Schouwen D(R)uiveland, (grape country) and on the outside of the village Dreischor. The Wine Farm has an typically authentic black tarred barn from 1735, and is one of the oldest farms in Dreischor.
